abn babys pop out of nowhere

ive been using zucchini and they seem to like it alot.
theres a new batch of baby's again i think. i saw a baby this morning with belly thats still round like an egg sack, i put him in a breeder net in fear he would get eaten he so small , maybe Little over 1/4" in length is this ok to do or should i leave the lone baby alone in the tank???
the male is in his spot for several days, the female has been out eating and sitting around so i figure theres eggs again.
