coral beauty in a reef??

I only keep soft corals, zoos polyps, xenia, button polyps , ricordea(green ,orange) & live rock all the coral are doing very well and expanding over the open rock(knock on wood)

is this fish safe for a reef?

Well, my opinion is that CB's are touch and go when put in a reef, they may have a tendance to nip and lps and soft coral.. However, as as probably been seen by others, nothing is ever guaranteed with a fish as they all exibit different behaviours and personalities...

ive kept a coral beauty in my tank along with soft corals and star polyps and had no dramas. The oval butterfly fish i had in before him had to go back to the LFS though.

thanks for the replies

Yep...keep it well fed and hope for the best.

My coral beauty was fierce! I had to take it back to the store because it was a big bully...which i hear is unusual.

I also would like to add a dwarf angel to a reef, yet it is so risky, and such expensive corals. If you keep the angel fed at least 2-3 times a day with variety, i believe it could be done

Hmmmm..hadn't thought of a flame angel..
