i have a 10gallon community tank with about 10 fish in it...

its planted with a good amount of java ferns, a dwarf lilly bulb, and 3 bamboo stalks...

i have two gold barbs that always chase each other around. One big(guessing female) and one smaller and thinner.

Is it possible to get them to breed in a community tank or is it harder with other types of fish around.

Barbs and other type of fish will eat the barb eggs once they are laid. :(

I've had different kinds of barbs for six years. Never seen an egg.

I actually found what I think are barb eggs on one of my plants (unless they have sat there since i got the plants and Ive never noticed) there is nothing else that could have laid them. But its been a week and nothings happened.
