Don't give up, I had a really bad dya yesterday and I felt like giving up! Having fish and tanks can be the greatest PITA, but we love our hobby and it kicks butt! Don't give up!
It is absolutely impossible to be classy without an aquarium. Chandeliers and granite counter tops don't mean a thing unless you have a fish tank. Stay classy, and keep that tank.
Have you tried a salt bath? you can't give up without a salt bath. If you don't have an extra tank, get a cheap plastic storage container and rig up a hospital tank. Seriously, you will probably get the itch to set up another tank after this is over, so you might as well struggle through it and come out wiser. A word of caution, do not buy a ton of medicine. Try the salt, or diagnose and pick a poison. Don't go throwing every potion you see on the shelf into the tank. That is definitely not the solution.

Erin - seriously - take heart. I got back from a 2 day break to discover literally half my fish dead or dying. Still havent the faintest clue as to why. However, I seem to have it beat, and my fish are once again giving me the greatest pleasure. Just remember the rewards at the end, and let that persuade you to perservere.
