I bought an AC 110 for my 120 but the tank is sitting too close to the wall to get it on the back. Just by a hair too. Anyway, instead of trying to move my tank I though about selling it to my sister who is going to soon put a couple of Sevs in her 55G. Would that be overkill or should I just return it and get a smaller one for her. I'm just going to get another canister for myself.

Actually it would be just right for the 55g.....and I would have used 2 on the 120g....hard to over-filter, unless the fish are pasted to one side of the tank from all the current! By the way, tell your sis she has excellent taste in fish...Sevs are great!

Yeah, I'm just going to get another Cascade for myself. I tried my best to budge it just the tinest bit but I didn't want to hurt or break the stand. And the Sevs are my suggestion. ;)

AC110 works great on a 55. I have 3 on my 150, one on my 55, one on my 30, I've even used one on a 20 Long before :D

Like it was said above, you really can't overfilter unless the fish can not swim in the current.

Yeah I know. I just didn't want her to pay extar money for something she didn't really need. The tank is running a wisper 60 right now.

The AC110 will be a great improvement.

Ditch the whisper. I went with two AC70's on my 55.
