I agree Flyfly. There's several locations I could get to, but some are too pricey. Time of year matters too. I don't have school to consider when making travel plans but some do.

While Japan might be nice...a visit to the Amano studios would make a great field trip, I think a little steep. Unless DH can get sent to visit the home office

That's why I think Las Vegas in March/Feb is a good option. Rates are cheap then for flight/hotel/car rental/food.

i think the baltimore harbor and aquarium would be an awesome meeting place and i also agree that each year it should be held in a different place around the country giving everyone the opportunity to attend eventually then for the ones who had a fab time will be more likly to travel farther the next time!

I think Reno would be cheaper. Plus it's small and everything is in walking distance.
