By all means, This should be a family event (Or at least I think so) Bring family and friends as you please, and if you are a minor, please bring your parents.

I should have some more info posted by mid-week, and hopefully we can start squaring away details. I'm excited.

Nursie, it kind of looks like you and me for the planning stuff so far, I was hoping someone would just take over and go with it, but that doesn't seem to be happening. Give me your thoughts. I'll rope John into helping with local details I'm sure.

Since we recieved no objections and Nursie seconded my motion, we picked Columbus Ohio, on July 22nd next year. Columbus has a great Zoo and aquarium, I'm going to try to arrange to use one of their shelterhouses. We can do an afternoon get together where people can come and go as they please and visit the Zoo, or the neighboring waterpark. For those traveling, Newport (cincinnatti) also has an amazing aquarium. And Columbus is rich with just about anything you want to see or do aside from Downhill skiing.

hey...I live in cinci, so its not too far. To bad it couldn't be here in Cinci, the Newport Aquarium's pretty cool. (But kinda pricey).

Hey Freddie,
Could you grab some local info on the newport aquarium. There may be folks who want to take a couple days and visit it on the way to or from. Having two great aquariums within 3 hours of each other is a nice thing for people on a road trip. Folks coming up from Down South will probably be driving right by Newport anyhow.

Absolutely. There's also a couple of other things here like the Indian caverns and the COSI museum that some folks might be interested in visiting.
