Hi Ev-er-y-body! I know it's bad manners to eat and run but I got an emergency. If I can save "him" or not, I'll be definitely coming back for a proper intro. Quickly, I have 1 55gl just for big fishes, 1 55gl. just for loaches of alllll kinds, 30gl cube, community, 30gl for Dumpster (a jack dempsy), 20gl. for my green spotted puffer (THE PROBLEM)and one more 20gl for dojo loaches, pink and horsie face, and uuuuuh, river loach? anyway it's a butterfly kinda thing.
I'd love to put up my avatar but I have no clue how to do that? Any help with that out here?
MY BABY'S problem!!!! Yes, sorry for screaming but if I start pulling my hair out then I can't type at the same time!!!! Stats: ph- 7.8-8.4; alkalinity 180, actually it's got a lotta blue in that strip box but it's been like that in all my tanks so I call it 180; hardness, 150, 0 nitrites; 0 nitrates. Salinity,.008-.010
Problems: for a week he's listless, stopped coming to the front of the tank all eager, u know; he'd eaten his last fish friend, which is what friend was for; has started to lay low on the rocks and he's puffed up some; he seemed like he was laboring for breath, so I put another air hose - he's also got powerhead; put in a sunset swordtail to keep him company - and last nite he wouldn't eat....bad sign there. I so apologize if this is not where I'm suppose to write this. But I gotta scoot and I'll be looking around this site to see what all the good stuff there is here. If someone can get back to me on this, I would be in hog heaven - Can't you see my southern accent? I was raised in GA, now in WA.
