After my recent introduction of BBG's in to my tank i had some feeding problems, And recieved some advice that i may have acclimated them to quickly. So i took a quick look on the web and found this Acclimation Faq It for marine but i presume that's the way to go whe nit comes to brack, However it contracdicts itself, So im not to sure of it.

Does anyone have a good FAQ or something? Or even you could go over your own procedure's, Any help whould be great.

What exactally do you want to do? From what SG to what SG?

Example #1 (extreme)
ok lets say your tank at home is 008 SG
you go to your LFS get a BBG thats in FW.
how whould you go about acclimateing the new BBG?

example #2 (med)
Ok you got a tank at 008
LFS keeps theres at 006

example #3 (Min)
Your tank 008
Lfs tank 008

For #1, you would put the fish in a bucket in the water it came from (enough to cover it's head). Tie a knot in a airhose & syphon water fron the new tank you will be transferring the fish to. Make it drip slow enough to raise the SG in the bucket no faster than .002/hour. As far as #2 & 3, you can acclimate the same as any other fish by floating the bag & every 10 minutes, add about 1/2 cup of tank water into the bag. Do this for 1/2-1 hour. Pour the water/fish thru the net, don't ever put the bag's water into your tank.
