Ace25's 75G Build Thread

Ace, I just read that you're having problems giving away coral frags...I'll take some off your hands! Would you happen to live in the Los Angeles area by any chance?

Oh ya, they heal real fast. That happened the night before the picture was taken and healed up completely within 3 days.

Nope, live about 2 hours north of LA, and moving in a month another 30 minutes north. Really not looking forward to tearing the tank down again and this time moving one this big for the first time.

Yikes...my only advice would be to PLAN, PLAN, PLAN and keep ALL of your water...or at least try to keep as much as you can and make sure you have good water ready to go ASAP. I'm sure you know all this already, but I'm just saying from my own experience of moving my 72 twice.

so you finally moving Jeremy.

Haven't updated pics in a few weeks. These are VERY quick and dirty pics.. not some of my better ones. I didn't want to pull out the Radium bulb I am running this week and put in my 10k bulb just to take pictures today... and that is all my camera seems to be able to take "good" pictures with since the camera is so old. I seem to have a "bulb" problem, I want to change them out every week now to spice things up and experiment a little. Maybe changing bulbs weekly with different brands will give you a more complete spectrum and make the corals grow more, I will find out.

Why can't more of you on here live closer to me so I can give away some corals!! Argh.. both frag racks full, tank full, sand starting to collect corals now since I am out of room AND I have corals I need to still trim but no place to put them when I do. I have pretty much completely saturated my area with the corals I have ... to the point no one will take them anymore. I just collected some more pieces from Guillo1 today.. more ATL Pink Polyp cap, Sunset Monti, and Superman monti.

My 2 frag racks...

Send a prepaid box with styrofoam and an unused heat pack (if you think you will need it, it has been 110 outside here the last 2 days, HOT!) inside a slightly bigger box and I will gladly stuff the box with corals for ya (shipped ground to me, but overnight back to you). I just don't have the time to find a proper box and supplies to ship it right now.. in the middle of packing up and cleaning the house for when I move within the next 30 days.

Come on mcsassy.. isn't the 2 hour drive to my place (assuming your in the LA area) worth it for a couple hundred dollars worth of corals for FREE (retail prices). ;) Sunset Monti goes for $80 for a 3/4" frag at my LFS, Superman is $75 for the same size, and small Green Slimer pieces are $25 and I will give much bigger pieces than those sizes and that is just an example of the many corals I need to clear out. I also have a couple nice ORA Duncan frags as you can see in the pic.
