Ace25's 75G Build Thread

Those clove polyps are very pretty. Looks like you got some good stuff at the BBQ. The tank looks incredible.

I have one of those nemo clips Ace...Tank is looking great, I'm gonna have to drive down there one of these days to look at it in peson.

I was wondering what the 2 eyes were last time you sent me some pictures. You scored some nice frags at the BBQ.

I also love the red people eaters... that color combination is amazing. who woulda thought that things like that would occur naturally... and underwater to boot.

Here are 2 better shots of the 2 zoa colonies that didn't open in time yesterday. I really like the Red People Eaters as well. Looking closely at them you can see they have 2 seperate skirts, inner ring is a ring of purple skirts, the other outter ring is a red ring of skirts.

Those are really nice. Your corals musts all be doing exceptionally well as they have very nice extension. All of my surviving zoa and palys are on the road to recovery. I think I may have lost one or two, but the rest are open now... thankfully. The FTS you posted are nothing short of amazing.

Just got my frag racks in, wow, that was fast. Nicely built. 2 problems with them, no rim to stop them from falling off the rock from snails (but I knew that when I bought it) and the holes are smaller than eggcrate so ORA or other plastic plugs won't fit in the rack. Only standard ceramic frag plugs.

Ok, finally a pic of the new Monti. After further research I think it is a Pokerstar Monti, not a Rainbow. Both have very similar colors but the pokerstar has a green polyp center to it, and the piece I got was the center of it, but only accounts for about 1/20" the size of the colony it came from, which had all the colored polyps and looked great.

And the 3 Montis.. Pokerstar (Purple Base - Green/Yellow/Red Polyps), Seasons Greetings (Green Base - Red Polyps), and Confusa (Yellow Base, Orange Polyps) at the top.

Also have the sunset Monti which is Orange Base Greenish/Yellow Polyps.

Wow. Jealous.:thm:

I really love those montis... very cool looking. I wish my sps would get extension like that. The piece of Tyree Cyphastrea I have does not have nearly the extension as anything like yours. They are there, they just don't go out that far and that noticeable. Maybe with time and improved water.
