Ace25's 75G Build Thread

Just for the record, I've shipped corals via USPS priority without incident, its quite a bit cheaper than the express/overnight option. For most places it only takes 2-3 days, although I've had fish take as long as 5 days (they survived fine). The downside to priority is its not guaranteed for 3 day, I think the website says 2-8 days or something like that.
 
The USPS flat boxes are all Priority shipping (2-3 day delivery), so that would'nt have worked out anyway. Even their Express shipping doesn't always guarantee next day delivery. I tried sending a letter envelope from at 10am from CA to WY (meds by mail) and the post office could only guarantee 2nd day delivery through Express.

I've heard sps coral shippers save big on weight by placing just enough water to keep the sps coral wet. SPS seem to do fine like that for the 24hr duration. I even had zoas shipped to me like that and they did fine. Inner bag had the coral and a few onces of water, bag not inflated and untied. Outer bag was inflated/tied for impact protection.

yes i feel very lucky. not only to receive such an awesome deal! but to know somone as kind and knowledgeable as Jeremy. ok well i know his online version ace25 same thing :P hey ace the extra funds are in the mail on there way to u lmk when u get it so i can make sure it arrives :) i would have emailed that tidbit but my DA wife cleared my in-box out! thanks again man if u ever need anything! lmk loan new car kidney etc....


ok now about the coral HOLY CRAP! it was way better then expected. these are some of the nicest pieces i have ever seen in person. and that's just what he trimmed off!
there was some chips and breaks from shipping . but that is to be expected with sps
coral. the good part about that is now i hve more frags to share :) interest anybody in a green slimer frag :P no seriuosly anybody that is local is welcome to a frag. just lmk
 
omg thats the one i want the most.. how much for just shipping it, cause i am very interested in that piece.. i know you said local but if your up for it shoot me a pm.
 
oh yeah i could not help but think of the ghost-busters movie! lmao vinkmen! vinkmin!

and ya i was totally cursing u on the rubber bands!rather that then leaking bags though ;) i will get some pics up as soon as i get them situated. i just have them in a rack for now. i had limited time this afternoon. i need to get my frakin cube done so i can put them in it!
