Ace25's 75G Build Thread

Package Received!!! Wow!! Never seen so much Bill's stuff all at once. Awesome pack you sent (although the TO shirt is uhhhh.. well.. it is T.O., not that there are really any standout players on the team right now)

Just say the word when you want me to ship the corals out. I would feel much better sending them out when you know the current SPS corals you have are doing good. All your frags I have for you are growing good in my tank and will only get bigger, and they have your name on them so no worries about losing them. Just say the word and they will be shipped out within 24 hours starting on Monday.

Isn't Conski amazing!! :cool-1:

Good lord that was fast, its definitly the zubaz that make it.. bet they fit....

hahaha the TO shirt was given to me that day i was gonna send that package, i was like well he said he hates TO but TO is what buffalo is about these days so i have too.

I dk what i want to do yet with my side of the bargain, i dk if i should just keep all my sps in my little tank and have one sick little pico sps/lps/leather tank and get a mp10 or if i wanna go at it head to head with my crazy parasite(which im gonna do anyway, whether or not i put corals back in the tank depends on how i feel i suppose..) i could have a nice little l. wrasse :) and then with 2 picasos and all your coral my 14 gal tank would be some eye candy to boot

is there tim hortons in CALI?

Tim Hortons, nope, appears to be an east coast only thing.

Your issue will get resolved in your 34G with a little effort, but that really should be your SPS tank.. rimless, vortech, MH, that is definitely the SPS tank. The problems running an SPS tank vs any others was the reason I moved to SPS corals in Feb 08. I had done softies and LPS for so many years and it became so easy and boring after many years of that... so I needed a new challenge and got into SPS corals. In the first few months I think I learned as much about the details of reef tanks as I did the entire previous 7 years combined. It was like a crash course into reef tanks all over again, scary at first, but very rewarding as long as you put the effort into keeping the tank healthy. It isn't like a softy/LPS tank where you can let things slide a little.. SPS corals let you know quickly when something isn't right and if you don't act immediately your chances of saving the distressed coral go down quickly. On my softy tank I put my hand in the tank maybe 2x a month... in my SPS tank it is about 10x a day doing some work in the tank.. which is what I wanted, something to do instead of just look at it, although nothing wrong with people that want a tank just for viewing, to each their own.

yea i feel the same way, which is why i wanna get my sps tank right away. i want the challenge which is why i started. im gonna work for most part of the day tomorrow to get my tank back on track. im not gonna let this hold me back from getting my reef going.

to bad about timmy hoes haha that place is the best.

ill post updates tomorrow on how it goes, enjoy the package man!

Woops... I totally jumped ahead of myself. . To reduce phosphates, you state to rinse off the frozen food... Do you just rinse it in tap water first?
