acrylic tank buffing update !!

If you want a really good result use micromesh (can be bought in a kit) to get rid of the deeper scratch and then plastic polish to finish it off. I have used this on aircraft transparencies for years and is far faster and better opticaly than polish alone.
 
I put about 12 hours of hand polishing with the Novus products into my acrylic tank. Not alot of the scratches were very deep though, but the work was very worth the effort. I could barely see any scratches at all on the tank.

Until my 3 year old baby sister got her hands on my mag-float...
