AC's Herp ID Game :)

That's what I was thinking, lol... I spent hours looking at pics of snakes with that zigzag pattern, but couldn't find anything with it other than vipers... The head isn't right for one of those... I'm thinking that one is a baby, which could make it a tad more difficult...
 
Very good froggsong! It is a juvenile. I'll post an adult pic as the next clue if necessary. But I notice Chris is looking so.....!
 
I don't think I've ever seen a Mole Snake (Pseudaspis cana) that color & pattern before, SubRosa. Post up another one, you're posting some good ones recently.

I thought that might be it based on the head, but the pattern was so off from all the pictures I could find that I figured I'd be laughed out of the game, lol...
 
According to the source it's from the Kimberly area. I'll post something later tonight unless someone else wants to give it a go.
