?? some type of python? nose doesn't seem pointy enough to be a boa, and in my EXTREMELY limited experience boas don't have that pronounced a pattern. i'm really not familiar with the many python species, and those that have been captive bred for a while have all kinds of color/pattern variations

It's not a type of python I can tell you that. Think venomous.

color seems a little off (but what do i know -- i have avoided living where they are). looks like a copperhead variation
