The TIGR Reptile Database is very helpful (http://www.reptile-database.org/). It is only updated once or twice a year, however. In this case, you could have compared their species list to a more current list of the chameleon species such as the one on one of my sites (http://www.chameleoninfo.com/Species_Profiles.html). Chris
