your tank looks wonderful, and the O looks like he enjoys his food LOL
Thank you!!! So what # do I get to be (69)?
I will be building a huge tank for Hare and Rama (JD) and will most likely get a few others after its up and running. I deff. want Golden Severums and Ghost Knife. My hubby really likes rays so maybe we will try our hand at them too. I am still in the blue printing process of the tank, so I want to study up and get a good idea of what all will be in it so I know what dimensions to make it, i know i want it to be really deep!!! I am gonna put it on a very very short stand and leave only about 18" from the ceiling for lights, and build short cabinets on either side to house filters. so thats all I know so far lol. I havent even decided if i want it in my room or living room!!! Any way I will start a thread on it when I finish design and deffinately do an intricate account of the build, those threads are soooooo cool to watch come together!!! So, i look forward to getting to know you guys and talk about our o's.:thm:

I do not what number you are just put in your sig ac oscar member. Glad to hear you getting a big tank. Let me give you some key advice for your selections of fish for the big tank:
I'd Stick with the Severums. They'll do fine with the oscar and JD. You have a whole varitey of severums to chose from. You've got just plain greens, and golds, to rotkeils, and super reds. Severums are so cool! I love severums to. I am getting addicted to them. Now I got a 3''green severum who is so peacuful that He loves his tankmates. So I hope you get addicted to them as well.
As for the ghost knife, they can get up to 12'' or I even heard they can get 20''. I'd worrie about the oscar, JD, and severum chasing and harrasing the poor ghost knife because they are known to be wimpy. I'd think you be better off with a clown knife, or royalclownknife.
As for the rays I think you should be fine. I see people keeping rays with oscars, and sevs with out no problems.
If your tank is bigger than a 225 I think it be safe to add some tinfoil barbs, or silverdollars(reg or redhooks),polys(bichirs), feifengs, or even a arowana.

Thank you!!! I am still trying to figure out where I want to set this up. I am thinking in my room, as I can make it huge in there. Now I just have the problem of getting it in there
:help:. I have exhausted my mind trying to come up with something, but the hallway has two sharp corners, the second is narrower than the first. The only solution i've had so far is to settle for longer and shallower and bring it in through the window:shakehead:, well I wanted a super deep tank for the O's but maybe I'll have to put it somewhere else where it will have to be a little narrower//// :swear::mad2:. Oh well I guess I still havent decided~~~At least I ll be getting a big new tank either way so I will still enjoy it!:evil_lol:
