Activated carbon to remove Nox Ich... how long?

Just completed a treatmentof Nox Ich, followed every instructions.

Did a 50% water change, added activated carbon to the filter, then put the plants back in there.

Now I want to know when it will be safe to put the shrimps back in the tank. I assume a couple of hours, to allow all the water to pass at least once in the filter.

It is a 10 gal with an Aquaclear filter...

So waited 4 hours, changed the carbon, then added the shrimps.

So far so good.

LOL, personally I would have suggested waiting 24. If only I had of seen your post in time..
