ADA Nature Aquarium Gallery Visit 2008

How beautiful! I would think someone who had such a beautiful imagination and talent would be more of a hippie-type dude, not mean. It seems to go against all the beauty I see in that room.

The tanks, and the layout in the room, the pictures on the wall, it's a living art gallery! It's just wonderful. I've never seen anything like it! What does ADA stand for?

He's not mean, really. He took a break from doing what he was doing to snap a pic with me. He just has a powerful aura. Kind of stern and scary, not really mean. He's passionate about what he does is probably the best way to describe it.

ADA stands for Aqua Design Amano.

Amano's profession is photography. Fishkeeping was just a hobby of his. But he decided to recreate natural scenes inside of the aquarium and took the hobby to a new level and then started his own company. His brother, an architect, designed the builiding as well. Unfortunately my photo above does it no justice. It is awesome.

Nice visit and pics! You should've tossed some hair algae in one of the tanks, then he could be mortal like us!

Thanks, but I don't have any hair algae! I haven't had nuisance algae free for a while now[knock on wood].... But maybe I can get some from the fish shop! Ahahaha.

Amano's tanks have algae, don't worry! I've seen bba as well. It just doesnt grow out of control in his tanks. Two things I noticed this year when looking under the cabinets... 1) Those cabinets seem very flimsy for the weight they're holding! Even my wife was stumped. 2) Amano has UV Filters setup on quite a few tanks. Don't know if that's temporary to take care of a problem and then he'll take it off, or if thats how it always is. I didn't ask because I was sweating like a pig in there and wanted to get out. Guess thats why I didn't see any heaters in a lot of the tanks.
