I searched this topic for a while and got mixed answers. I would appreciate it if someone can straighten this out.
Currently I have a low tech planted 10 gallon tank with DIY co2 and now I am in the process of upgrading it to a pressurized system. I just got a CO2 regulator with a solenoid valve, but I dont have enough space to accomodate a regular tank, so I am going for a paintball set up temporarily. I am wondering what kind of adapter should I get to set this up. Some people suggested to get some kind of simple thread fitting since two tanks have different diameter, but some people also suggested to use just a on/off valve for the paintball tank, since both tanks have the same threads. This is very confusing to me, so if anybody ever set up a paintball co2 tank with a regular gas regulator, please give me some advice. Thanks a lot for your help.
