Add a Canister Filter or Don't Bother?

I have a 15 gallon planted tank with an AC 50 as the primary filter. I also have a Hagen Elite Mini underwater filter that I use to distribute my CO2.

I was considering adding a canister filter to the set up, maybe a Marineland HOT Magnum.

I don't really have an issue with flow in the tank, at least it doesn't seem so. I don't see any noticeable dead spots or anything like that. Would it be worth it to add a second filter? If I were to add a canister, could I remove the Hagen and just run the CO2 into the canister?

i would say on a tank that small, with that big a hob filter on it already, i wouldn't bother. IMO, canisters are more suited to tanks above the 30 gallon range.

then again, what is a good idea, if you are planning on fueling the mts (multi tank syndrome, lol) down the road, or going to upgrade this tank, is to run the canister on it now, to establish bacteria, and then switch it over to the other tank when the time comes.
