Hey everybody, I hope this is the right place to post this.... Anyway, I have been looking for a way to get some more light over my 20 gallon tank without getting rid of my Eclipse 2 hood (the one with two 15w fluorescent bulbs), and I came across the A H Supply website. I ordered two 13w bright kits and was able fit all four 13w CF bulbs under the hood with any cutting! I was wondering if anybody else has done this, or if anybody was at least in the same predicement I was (lighting wise). Any input or questions would be much appreciated!!!

Ahsupply is really popular on this board. I'm about to order a 1x96W bright kit for my 46Gallon. I wanted a 2x55W but I was told by ahsupply today that it won't fit in my current hood.

Was it really complicated to install? I looked at the part list and am hoping for good instructions... lol

Well to be honest I ordered the kit designed to replace a single 15w bulb hood and when I got the kit, the directions were made specifically for the one hood, meaning they helped only a little bit (I ended up using a wiring diagram that came with it to help me put it all together). But if you are getting it for a DIY hood or a basic type hood then the installation should be a breeze! By the way the tank looks so much better after the kit was installed!
