Added new Live Rock --now fish are dying.

Do plenty of water changes and give the tank a good dose of Prime daily until things settle down. I do agree that some carbon or even Purigen in the filter would be beneficial. When you do your water changes, siphon around the surface of the new rock to help remove any 'die-off' material that may be causing the problems.

I went to buy more live rock from my LFS the other day and they told me not to buy it. Said it was "dirty" (more dying off it) and to wait. I came back 5 days later and they said it still wasn't clean enough since I already had fish. They said there would be a sudden spike in amm. and I would lose fish. I wonder if there was an overnight spike that is coming down quickly. Check how old your testers are (as was suggested). Will your LFS test your water for you?
