Click to expand... i find its better to keep babies on a fish diet, minnows..guppies..work good as it starts getting bigger (when it reaches the 4-5 inch mark) you can start gradually weaning it off of live food and start offering prepared just dont throw the feeders in all at once, go one by one, this way its trained to hit whatever your drop into the tank

Also helps them get used to you and not be scared.
