Adding another Cichlid

I've had some experiences with firemouths recently. I had one for a while that was an absolute killer -- was systematically removing the eyes of its tank-mates. I now have a less aggressive one that flares at my silver dollars, but seems ok with them.

So, I guess you could go to your LFS and pick the tamest one they have ... might work out, but I think you might eventually have some issues.

my blood parrots (4 of em) are realy quite good tempered. they do more acting agressive than they do being agressive, it seems to me. theyre in a 55 galon along with 5 jewel ciclids and one im not sure what he is but he's calico, orange/rust black n white, but hes also covered in iridescent purple kinda when the light hits him, pluss one nice size pleco. theyve been moved from tank to tank as they've grown larger n the parrots r about coffeecup size now. anyways good luck with whatever ya decide.....but in my personal experience ciclids are always a crap shoot lol. its allllways iffy!
