Hey all,

I have my 37 gallon tank, and I would like to add a few more fish. Not too many more, so I want to make sure I pick out some "winners" that i'll enjoy watching.

Currently I have assorted Molly's, Platy's, guppies, dwarf guarami's, tetra's, a pleco, and some ADF's.

Anything I could add to this tank that would compliment the current mix i've got going on? My big thing is, the fish have to play nice with the others. The tetras nip eachothers fins a bit, but nobody elses, so i'm okay with that. I just don't want to introduce any fish that are going to 'bully' the other fish around.

What would you guys recommend adding? All of my current fish move throughout the entire aquarium, top, middle, and bottom, so there's not one area of the tank I need to fill particularly.

Fish that will play nice, and are of similar size so things don't look out of purportion, etc.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated, especially if you can link me to a pic of what they look like! :D

Thanks,
Eric

I might suggest some neon tetras. They're pretty colorful and would work good together with the fish you already have. Also maybe some zebra danios. They're pretty active. Other than that I don't know. By the way, I believe that as long as you have enough filtration to handle the amount of fish you currently have you should be fine stock wise...:)

One betta fish, they are good community fish, but of course you can only keep one of its kind, not with another betta. Although I dont know how well it would get along with a Gourami, because they belong to the same family. Maybe some small Corydoras

Is it just male betta's that don't get along well? My LFS has female bettas seperate from the males, would a pair of female bettas work okay in a community tank?

I have a ton of filtration in this tank. 50 lbs of gravel in the bottom with an UGF, plus three aquaclear sponges in my filter (two in the filter, one on the inlet). Bio-wise, the system is fairly stout. :) I do 30% waterchanges on Sunday nights each week or two.

TIA
