Hello fordsrule,

Are you planning on breeding?

Sounds good, post some pics! :)

breeding is an experience, but i wouldnt recommend it unless you have homes lined up for a bunch baby ball pythons.. assuming you dont want to keep the (average) six babies..
ive found its hard to find a home for even one normal ball... and i couldnt, in good concience, give them to any petstore..
and athough you are getting a het pied, breeding it with a normal will get you pretty much normals...
but if you decide to do so, good luck!

and good luck as well with the adoption..!

I really miss having mine. I also miss our boas. They had babies once and that was quite the ordeal :) Anyway, congrats and can't wait to see some pics ;)

Hey Ball pythons are great snakes, and good luck with them.
How old are they? Are they live fed or Frozen?
Balls can be picky eaters and go off feed for a few weeks at a time or a month. so I hope you have done your research.
they are a great snake and good pets. I have about 10 here.

A few are rescues, unwanted pets, So I highly recommend not breeding unless you have a home for them. They are becoming the new common pet that end up in humane and herp societies up for adoptions.
Our herp society gets any where from 1- 6 a month from people no longer wanting them. They are up there with Boas, Iguanas and Red Ear Sliders as give away animals.

Also, are these animals given to you? Are you sure its het for Pied? Those command big bucks so I doubt you may actually have one, unless you did pay big bucks.
