31 Spooner St. Quahog, RI.
39 gal setup including misc aquarium gear, a power filter and a wooden cabinet stand.
Tank has measurements are 20L* 18 W* 25 H..AKA a tall tank.

Current bid $46.

Pretty good deal, except it has the complications of being located two hours away/ 89 miles. Seller will bring it 50 miles at a cost of $3 per 21 miles.

So if I bid on this, I would have to drive an hour and pay a gas fee for them to bring it half way. Is this setup worth bidding on?...And if so how much is it worth bidding on before giving up?.

I guess it Depends really onhow bad you want the tank.. and how many are in the area

Only one response all day and it's vague.

If it's in good shape, it sounds like a pretty good deal...even with the gas $. Most will suggest paying $1/gallon for a used tank. The gear, filter, cabinet in addition, I think, makes it worth the few extra bucks.

If the stand is in good shape, I'd go for it. The stand is worth more than the tank.

They mailed me saying the gas fee will be $12-14.

I personally wouldn't take it cause I'm not interested in tall tanks, I like wide ones.

If its something that you would use/like it, its a pretty good deal stand etc included.

I'm taking a 200 mile round trip for a 55 tomorrow. As it was stated earlier...it depends on how bad you want it.

Yeah I like the tall shape. I could have my twenty high and this next to each other for almost the same footprint I have for my thirty standard. It is a bit wider then I'd like.

Doesn't sound that unreasonable. Got pics?
