Hi Friends !

Just wanted to request for some advice on different types of Feeder (Feeding Stations for the Aquarium Fish)...

Actually I'm planning to buy a Feeding clip like the below to feed my fish the occassional spinach or cabbage etc... (BTW Can cabbage be fed to fish ?)

I read that there is a certain type of Weighted-Sinking-basket like things to that can be used to feed the freeze-dried food to the bottom fish.. it would be a great help if you can advice on what are these things called and if you can link me up to somthing like these, because almost always my bottom feeders miss out on the freeze-dried brineshrimps and bloodworms etc...

Kindly advice friends....
Thanks and Regards

I just use a plastic chip clip to feed my fish veggies (as for the cabbage, give it a try they probably will eat it). For the freeze dried food I just soak it and then add to the tank. Typically I use frozen over freezedried which I defrost in a little tank water and then add to the tank (sinks right away that way). There are sinking wafers you could feed to your bottom feeders as well. Good luck, hope this helps.

Hi there....

I really wish I could feed Frozen food to my fish, but I dont get any here....

All I can get is Freeze-dried bloodworms, brine shrimps, Tubefex worms...

also it would be very helpful if you can kindly advice on feeding the veggies using the clip...
Thanks !

I usually feed peas (frozen ones work great, just defrost and pop out of the outer skin) which I just drop in, cucumber (deseeded) i drop in and let sink with the clip, and zucchini i will blanch (drop in boiling water for a minute) and clip and drop in. Many veggies can be fed, these are just the ones I commonly feed. My inverts also really like green beans (frozen of these also work well) which i also clip and drop in.
