I agree with BettaFishMommy that the angel fish likely need more room. They get to be 6", and they need a tall tank (at least 20" tall I believe), and they will need more room than a 20g soon. I think cories would do well, and many places sell them. But, they need to be in a group of at least 5 for better health and less stress, so they need more room than 20g also. Keep in mind that you will also have to feed them more than just what hits the bottom from feeding the angels.

Like a few others have mentioned, until you get a larger tank,I do not think adding anymore fish right now would be a good idea.If you can get a 55,you could have your angels, some bottom feeders, and some smaller schooling fish.

Instead of using fish as janitors, buy a gravel-vac, the WC's will do some good too.

what he said

where did betta say they were getting cories for janitors?

four rules to follow when adding stock to a tank:

1. new stock is compatible with current stock.
2. you like and enjoy the new stock.
3. there is ample tank room for the new stock.
4, and most important! new stock is healthy and parasite free.

thanks I've never had a fish tank before this is my first time..although it still doesnt answer my question of where betta said cories were janitors...they've yet to even answer if its a breeding pair or not.
