African Butterfly fish question

fish breeder, an ABF is not a cichlid at all... its actually whats called a bony tounge fish, I would not knokw this except for the fact that I have an aro and when I look the aro up info is there about the abf as well.

I know. they are the only fish inthere class of bony fish. I ment that the person who had a 10" one that ate plecos was the butterfly cichlid and that person is the confused one:

They will eat anything that will fit into their mouth. I sometimes feed mine Guppies as feeders.

I'm planning on getting one for my 55. Theyre sweet, and about the closest thing I can come to an arowana.
