African Cichlids or Oscar

I am a big Oscar fan as well as Africans. The pro for Africans is you can keep more fish in a 55g usually but with an Oscar you really limited to 1. What is your first tank? I had a 29g community tank and quickly became bored and replaced the food, opps, I mean neons, with Africans who quickly ate the neons. Africans do have nice color but I just dont care for the tank set up for Africans if you want your tank to resemble their natural environment. Oscars are one of the fish with a "pet like" personality more than any other fish I have kept. The enjoy feeders as well. Flip a coin.

My other tank is a 72 gallon freshwater community. It is filled with tetras/danios/gourami's mainly. I am actually having big problems with it right now. See newbie forum for full story. I am losing fish fast. I had to put the 55 gallon on the back burner for right now. It is up and running but has nothing in it. Thanks for the advise.
 
I would go with africans cause u can put more africans in a 55 insted if u an oscar u can only put one in their I would go with the africans
