It just depends on how many you get.I have seen them do fine in a 20 gal tank,but if it were me I would put them in at least a 30 gal tank.They are a real active fish and swim around alot.They also like places to hide out also as they can be a bit aggressive with eachother over territory and a 20 is sometimes just not big enough.Beautiful and fun fish to watch.

do you have any pictures of your Metriaclima Aurora? i keep getting different pictures of the fish with different colors.

They would do fine in a 29 gal.You just have to give them some nice rock scape with caves and places to hide like a mentioned above.A trio or maybe 4 fish would be ok in that size tank.I don't have any pix of these guys at this time.The males are blue w/a little yellow coloration to them and the females are more a creamy yellow brownish color.
