Hello,

So I was wondering if I could get opinions on my 37 Eclipse aquarium. I have 3 African Dwarf Frogs (ADF) in a small bowl aquarium and would like to transfer them to my aquarium, which is 18.5 inches tall from substrate to the top of the water line.

I suppose I could watch them to see if they can handle it. But lets say they do get to the top for air, can I trust they will be able to do this on their own without supervision to be able to survive? Right now they shoot to the top very fast where they are now, which is about 8 - 10 inches tall.

Thanks!

They should be fine. My daughter has about a 8 frogs in a 30gal cube which is taller.

Just wondering if I can get a couple more responses to weigh the decision factor.

Thanks much!

I had 2 in a 90gal 24 inches high and I swore that it was too deep for them. One got caught in my AC filter intake tube(Rest it's little soul) and the other disapeared i still have not found it. It's the one whom seemed to br struggling to reach the top! :(

If you decide to try it i would recommend putting some floating plants in for the frogs to hang out on should they decide to. You could try it, but i think it would be less than ideal. Good luck and keep us posted.

From what I've read, that would be way too tall...which is why we decided to buy a 10 gallon instead of putting them in the 28 gallon. Just too big of a risk putting in them in there, they may seem fine at first, but you never know when one just might not have enough energy to reach the top when it needs to.
