African Dwarf Frogs

How often do these little suckers have to go up for air? I just a got a couple for my smaller tank and all the ever seem to do is hide under their log, and I never see them go up for air...

Are they capable of breathing for hours from a single surface?

Well, I'm not sure exactly how long they can go without resurfacing, but I do know it is somewhat long. I have never seen an exact figure though. Don't be worried. They will surface when they need to.

surfacing info...

i have 2 of the strange little beings in my tank..... seen times where they will be submerged for up to an hour at a time other times they will just float on the surface looking like they have died. no need to worry about them, if you are concerned they have died just try to touch one... he will likely swim away from your net. they seem to surface more often when your lights are out too.
