okay 2 gallon tank, how many african dwarf frogs can I put in there at most. I am fine with changing the water every other day. My sister has 3 in hers, and they seem to be okay. I know about the one inch per fish rule but if I change it often will I get away with having a few?

i have him housed in a 10g with tetras and guppies. he seems to be doing fine. im sure 3 in a 2g would be ok too.

omg, I didnt know they were real frogs, I thought they were a type of fish!

Do they need to come to the surface, or do you have the water filled to the top?

Never seen them in australia..

^^ they come up for air.

3 ADFs in a 2g is fine. They eat any food on the bottom of the tank - you can get away with catfish/shrimp pellets some of the time, but it is best to give them live or frozen food, particularly bloodworms. Make sure you feed enough so that the fish don't eat it all. they will snap at fish, but never do damage.

thanks. these guys look very fun. i was watching him in the tank yesterday and he's interesting to watch. i hope .everything turns out good for u alex

thanks. i have 3 in my tank right now. lots of little hiding places for them too under the rocks. water gets dirty to where i have to change it about every other day, but its not a hassle cuz theyre fun little guys to watch. they are definately more active with other dwarf frogs than when i had one with a betta.
