Has anyone out there heard of fish called African Headstand?
I bought this awesome fish at PetSmart (in Toronto) about a year ago. He was reduced to 75% as nobody wanted to buy him and I paid about $15CDN, so he is not the cheapest fish out there. His label read "African Headstand", community fish.
When doing research I could not find anything under his name!
He has been doing great in my 90gallon community tank and is amazing to watch. He swims vertically and always head down!! He is very shy but does not allow to be bothered by any other fish. My headstand is about 3-4" long and swims mostly at the top and in the middle of my tank, but does like to explore the bottom. Loves bloodworms and dim places. He has an oval-shaped, brown-and-black-striped body and looks nothing like any other fish! I am still interested in finding out more about this fish and possibly get him a friend. So if anyone knows any info on this fish or can post a link, I would really appreciate it!
I will try and post some pictures tonight.
Thank you in advance!
