African spotted frogs

We recently introduced 2 African spotted frogs into our aquarium and one likes to float on top. He was even floating on his back and I panicked thinking he was dead but then he just swam away. It scared me! Is this normal?

I have never seen mine float om its back, but I am sure it is fine if the frog looks healthy.

ive heard of them flopping on their backs but i dont know about floating.
