aftermath of blizzard 2

i had to unbury the mailbox, that sucked. Now I am working on the driveway wher eit all drifted so my husband can make it home tonight. I am truly exhuasted

Yowsa!

Reminds me of my childhood in Upstate NY, where we used to build an igloo in the front yard and use it as a play house all winter long.

Eeek, that MetaFrame tank outside looks mighty cold! It took me a few seconds to figure out those were chair-backs sticking above the snowline.

I'm glad you've got power, though!

That is AWESOME!!!

It's snowing here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, too.:headbang2: We have what looks like about 6 inches on the ground right now and it's still coming down, and will continue into the night.

I love snow!! I wish I had been born in snow country... but NOOOOOOO... I had to be born in the SUNBELT !!
and ... I married a CAJUN that hates snow and ice. :silly:

I love skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, sledding...... snow fights.... snow angels....snowmen.... hot cocoa by the fireside.... moonlight on snow covered fields...the stillness of snow covered woods at night where
"... the only other sound's the sweep of easy wind and downy flake..." (sorry for waxing poetic... I love that poem :))

AND, I LOVE SNOW!!

I just hope and pray, Rach, that you and all my other AC fish friends that are in the areas slammed by snowstorms will not have power outages and will stay safe and warm.

I DID IT! I got the entire driveway, path around teh house, parking area, and mailbox unburied! I even found our other vehicle in the process! I am going to go drink an entire case of beer and sleep for a week now thank you

We got apologies from the weathermen for the over predictions. We were expecting 2 feet and it all dumped in Pa and got just under 12" here.

Wow Jeff you got even more than we did up here...after all the panic we ended up with just 2-3".

I think it looks great! (especially since it isn't here)
