AGA 55g Frame

So I ordered a AGA 55g black frame for my tank that I'm rebuilding and I had already put the glass together. It all measured perfectly 48x13x20". I get the frame in after a week from Pets-Warehouse only to find that the frame does not fit. Internal measurements for the frame are 48" x 12 1/2"! So now I am going to have to take the tank apart again and take it to a glass shop to have it cut to proper size. If this ends up costing more than $50 I am better off buying a brand new tank from PetsMart for $99.

Anyone know how much glass cutting costs?

You're just bringing in three panes of glass to have a little cut off right? If it costs more than $15 (o.k. $20), I'd say go somewhere else. Better yet, call ahead and ask. My uncle use to do it for free for me until he retired and the shop closed.

Yeah 3 panes, left right, and bottom. I may have all the edges smoothed out.
