I have the following fish and tanks:

48 Gallon:

1 Moonlight Gourami
Pair Keyhole Cichlid
10 Black Phantom Tetra
6 Panda Cory
6 Trinni Cory

41 Gallon:

Pair Blue Ram
15 Neon Tetra
6 Cardinal Tetra
8 Glowlight Tetra
4 Kuhli Loach

The problem is that my Keyhole Cichlid are now becoming aggressive towards the Moonlight Gourami, it looks like it has come to a head with the Moonlight having a pretty tattered fin now and is acting very skittish, I guess she got beat up a bit.

The Moonlight and Keyholes have been together for quite a while, probably around 8 months.

Can anyone see a way around this, maybe swap the Rams and Keyholes if I can catch them all in the heavily planted tanks? Or do I just need to rehome the Keyholes/Moonlight :(

Feel bad as I have had the Moonlight Grouami for a couple of years now :(

Put the moonlight gourami in the tank with your rams. This should solve your prob.. Unless the keyholes then turn there agression towards the tetras..

Sorry another question, when I do move her, as the tanks are the same temperature and water changes performed using same water supply, do I need to acclimatise her or just put her straight in?

If both tanks have the same parameters and maintainace schedule then I would just flip them from one tank to another. Some might be more cautious but Ive done it multiple times with my Apistos (by all accounts a fairly sensitive fish) and never lost one. I almost think the stress of the capture/ acclimation period in bucket or bag might be more stressfull than just chucking the fish in the other tank.
