there is a difference between been aggressive and a predator. Wolf fish is one of the most skilled predator fish, but it isnt aggressive by chasing after everything the moment they hit the water. red belly piranhas are also very skittish.
if i have to pick the most aggressive + predatory fish within the aquarium hobby(otherwise it's pointless - yeah great whites! ...), it would probably be a school of exodons. Those little guys are just plain nuts, they have no fear!
Or a few piranhas from the genus serrasalmus classification. Those fish are so aggressive they cant even be kept with other piranhas and will ram the glass wall chasing after your finger. Have read accounts of aquarists who were bitten on the hands while feeding. The fish would literally jump a few feet out of water to bite the unsuspecting fishkeekper's hands.
