Tell you the truth - i don't miss them.
I have my options set so i have 40 posts per page and pages come up a lot faster than with the avatars (and i am on a T1 line).

And why do "all" other pages have them ? Well some are probably not as big as AC - and other probably run a lot more commercials/ ads/ popups to make money and pay for all the nonsense.

Sorry but... i come here for the advice and the great community created by good people - not for avatars.
