My nem got sucked up in the stupid canister filter intake....i gently pulled him out...he's still okay looking but his tips are shriveled up....will he be okay? i mean all of his tentacles where in the intake...i rescaped and he moved right to the center anyways post pics tomorrow.

You might want to run lots of fresh carbon, nems caught in powerheads/filters can often foul the tank...
my RBTA got sucked up one day in my Koralia PH while i was at work..i came home and found pieces of red tentacles everywhere..a few weeks later it was back to normal..with the exception of a few short tentacles..def do a water change tho 
my RBTA got sucked up in a maji-jet... the tentacles didn't make it to the propeller so it wasn't ripped apart, just deflated and twisted... after a week or so it was back to normal 
just be sure to nem proof that intake!
