Wow, thats weird. They must have gotten sucked up by the filter. You should probably take the filter right out now and clean it thoroughly. Dont worry about saving any bio-media, throw everything away and put new stuff in. If you do have any bio-media in your filter, the nasty white stuff could be lurking in it. (Nasty White Stuff is very good at Lurking)

I just found out recently that there are species of slime mold (Myxomycetes)
that are totally aquatic. I wonder if this could be one of them?

Myxomycetes are totally harmless things that have characteristics of both
animals and fungi. They eat bacteria on rotting organic matter. Some
of the terrestrial ones have brilliant yellow or orange color, and can get
quite large. People sometimes panic when they find yellow slime festooning
their garden plants, but it's just a slime mold coming out of the compost
to sporulate.

Hmmm thanks...Did change the filter...there gone for now...hope they don't come back So...could that of been why the planaria and every microorganism went to the front of the tank? To eat that mold stuff?
