ahhhh help a salamander!

so i came home from work today and my husband found this adorable little salamander in our yard (in Oregon) i think it's a clouded salamander from what I've found so far....he's giving me the puppy dog eyes and wants to keep it for a while, rite now he's in some clean water with some twigs and bark and a little dirt in case he feels like walking. so what can i offer this little thing to eat?

Most salamanders are more terrestrial than aquatic, so a water set up is not appropriate. If you can take a pic we can help identify and give a proper set up.

I think it might eat some blood worms, earth worms, mosquito larvae. How big is it?

i think salamanders eat bugs. try crickets? earthworms?

I'm trying to get a picture...not easy with a phone. he's very small maybe a little over an inch..he's dark brown with tiny light brown spots on his back. hmmm maybe i'll try some bloodworms or chop up some worm really small.

I had a salamander once before, it would only eat bloodworms and nothing else.
