IT RUINS MY PLANS!!! AHHHHHHHHH!

Ok so I was going to drive out today and get my free tank and stand.
Guess what, that storm is due at 12 PM for us in the Northeast USA.I've been trying to reach my parents to get advice if making this trip would be OK. Not home and I think nope though. I may miss my cahnces because they want it gone before the storm.

well, how far is the drive, and where do you live?..that is kinda what we need to know?..lol, what type of vehicle, and how much experience do you have driving in bad weather, lol, you do still have an hour?..

I asusme I'll have to figure in finding the place in an area that I've never driven.
My car is a PT crusier.
I tend to avoid driving in any bad weather.

So the storm would hit just as I'm going back...Then again I've cancelled things before only to have nothing happen...I want the tank/stand, would be silly to put my self in danger for it. Would have been nice if I had set the alarm clock and then I could have gone and been back before the storm.. High seelp needs.

um, I personally would try for it, the next question, is how much of the travel, is highway, and how much is back roads?.. right now, all roads in my area, are clear, and even if it snowed for thirty minutes, pretty heavy, the roads are still warm enough, that it won't stick, all highways should have probably been salted. On the other hand, if you are not comfortable, driving in inclimate weather, i would then not go. do you have a friend, who would take you? maybe someone with 4 wheel drive?..that way, even if its not there, you could have a good trip! ..

Snow storm? How many cm? Monday we're due for 20 cm of the white stuff, which I'm hoping will come fast and hard (maybe a day off work? Possibilities, possibilities... )

Guess I'm not going now Parents FINALLY called back all furious I was going out in a snow storm. I don't need that kind of #$#&$*.
I was bundled up, I am just coming back to lock yup the door and that's when they decided to call back after I've been trying to reach them for about three hours.

From the way I understand this you dont live at home if you are calling your parents for advice ..... If you are old enough to be on your own why not just go get the thing if you want it this bad and like someone mentioned if the weather starts getting bad turn around.
