AHSupply Ballasts & Bulbs

I purchased a 40 watt kit a couple of years ago from AHsupply. I believe that the ballast that is used with this kit is also used with the 55 watt and 36 watt kits. I need to replace the bulb and was considering going to the 55 watt bulb. Can I do this?

Personally. I'm not too sure. I'd just call Kim at AH Supply and ask him. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to help. You can get the number from his website - ahsupply.com

Yes, but you need to rewire. The 36W bright kit uses a Fulham Workhorse 3 ballast (see http://www.fulham.com )... Call AHSupply and have them fax or send a new wiriing diagram: to run a 40W bulb, you need to jump a wire or two. IIRC the 55 watts can be directly subbed for a 36W
