AIM Virus....Help??

This seems to be a very new 'virus', so there may not be a fix for it yet, I'd update aimfix daily to see if a fix for your virus has been added. You probably would have to make some registry deletions to fix the problem...which can be a bit risky if you aren't sure of what you are doing.
 
It's not fixed yet, hobie:) The m1t thing (which is all that I could see as the problem) is still there.

Slappy...I think you're right. I sent him a message because he asks for logfiles for the new stuff so he can update. I'll wait for a reply. I don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about though, with the registry stuff:( Is it something someone could talk me through??
 
You would have to run regedit to get into your registry, but without knowing what entries to delete at this time, it would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Alright....I checked for updates with AIMFix and did it again. This time it did find c://m1t.exe. It quarantined it. But it didn't remove it. Does anyone know how I can actually get rid of it? It makes me nervous that it's just sitting in there....sleeping.
